The Worship War

1 Peter 4:10 NIV Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

We have been serving in ministry in Hamilton, Ohio for 1 year now and we have learned, grown and experienced many different things and met many kinds of people.  I must say God’s people are awesome!

What we have learned over this year is there is a competition among believers and churches that I know has to grieve the Spirit of God.  We compare ourselves to the other ministries around us and try to do it bigger and better.  Friends, that is not what God meant for us to be – competitors.    We have learned that when we join together with His Kingdom in mind we can accomplish far greater for Christ.

We have grown by learning tolerance, patience, acceptance and the importance of unity.  In order to impact this city for Christ we have to grow our relationships not just for unity sake but for pure passion to reach as many people with the the Gospel of Jesus Christ as possible.

We have experienced with much exuberance as heartache that the only way to accomplish this is by joining together as a family with His kingdom in our hearts and not our individual churches.  We were not meant to stay inside the four walls of a building and call it church.  We are meant to be without walls to carry on Jesus’ mission as the church then after we have spent all week out in the community that God has us in then we unite together in a building for encouragement to go back out again.

God has put a mobile ministry before us for 2012, join us this year as the church reaches into the community for His Honor and Glory!!!
