Look for your rainbow

Today is your gift from God what are you going to do with it?

Business has been extremely slow these last couple of weeks at the cafe.  When that happens it is my first impulse to start to worry about money and how we are going to pay our bills.  I’ve had an ongoing battle with this all last year.  This year it is time for me to trust that God can do exactly what He promises.  We are not your typical cafe; we are a non-profit organization.  We have the cafe to have an initial contact point for people and to help support the ministry.  Although, we still rely on monthly supporters to keep us going.  So no matter how the business appears I am going to have a good attitude, stay calm and KNOW that God is in control.

I ask you to think about your day and the people around you.  Are you out in the workplace, a stay at home mom, work in ministry or whatever your position is currently are you unhappy and have a hard time getting along with your co-workers?  Do you encounter negative people with bad attitudes?  If this is you, let your light shine.  Be an example of God’s peace, grace and love.  Influence their day, do not allow them to take your joy filled day and turn you into a sour faced grumpy irritable person.

We have the ability to choose our responses and attitude.  So instead of complaining and becoming negative yourself just keep on smiling unto God.  Live today as happy and full as you possibly can.  After all today is your gift from God.  God promises a rainbow and like today is a cloudy rainy day, look for your rainbow.

Praise Him!
